Disney's Quest
Located at Downtown Disney West Side, this 5 story,
100,000 sq. ft. attraction houses some of the most cutting edge technology,
mixed with the very best concepts from Disney's venerable imagineers.
Much more than an 'arcade', Disney Quest offers guests
a chance to experience some of the best virtual entertainment you will find
anywhere. Divided into five main sections, kids will love the Explore Zone
featuring Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride and Virtual Jungle Cruise. Create Zone
testing your artistic ability at animation, or record a CD of your
own. At the Replay Zone, find Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blaster and a
Disney-themed bumper car attraction. Score Zone where many of the most
current arcade games can be found. Get a tasty treat at the food court,
where you can grab a quick sandwich, or a cup of coffee while surfing the 'net
in the Internet Cafe. With attractions like Cyber Space Mountain guests
can create, and ride their own virtual roller coaster.Regardless
of the venue, Disney Quest is large on entertainment.
Be a pirate for a day aboard
the black pearl with captain Jack Sparrows and his
scurvey crew. In search of Buccaneer Gold on the high
seas, test your skills firing your six canons and sink ships that get too
close. The Explore zone offers a variety of other virtual reality
attractions including Aladdins Magic Carpet Ride where guests can take an
unforgettable magic journey through Agrabah. Ride with your friends as
release the Genie trapped in the cave wonders.
Test your athletic skills in
the Score Zone housing the virtual reality game Mighty Ducks Pinball Slam. Find
yourself part of a human pinball machine game as your hip-check your friends
using oversize joysticks to control your pinball. There's never a boaring
moment at Disney Quests 5-floors of cutting edge entertainment. Immerse
yourself in a familiar world of comic books and duel with your favorite
action hero as you wheel your deadly saber.
All kids will love this place,
especially the Create Zone. Kids can go in to the Radio Disney Song-maker and
produce their own music. Creating their own unique song combines
song titles, lyrics, artist and music style and the composer generates
a CD including art work and a jewel case. But nothing tops the
CyberSpace Mountain simulator that allows guests to design their own high-speed
roller coaster hosted by Bill Nye the Science Guy.
